Secret Agent

Want to work on the most confidential projects at Amazon? We’re looking for a secret agent who can code their way out of the most challenging situations.

As part of the Amazon Appstore for Android, our whole organization works on projects not disclosed to the rest of Amazon. In this role, however, you’ll be working on projects that the rest of our organization doesn’t even know about. As a software development engineer, you’ll be building the next big thing from Amazon and making an impact on millions of customers.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, C#, or C++
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• 3+ years relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

 
• Graduate degree
• Experience with mobile software development
• Experience with service oriented architecture
• Experience building a complex software system and launching it to production
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
